Yes, New Orleans shows up on every travel list – but for good reason. New Orleans is filled with plenty of inexpensive hotels, great food, art, and culture! Walk down Bourbon Street for some people watching and jazz music, eat countless numbers of beignets at Cafe du Monde, or get your palm read at the French Quarter. The city is walk-able and the seafood is delicious. Check out this AirBnB cottage for you and five of your friends!

Port Aransas – the best way to get that Cancun feeling on a budget. Take your friends and try a Bloody Mary from Seafood and Spaghetti Works or go on a magical dolphin cruse. Relax at The Back Porch Bar then rent some jet skis for a lot of fun! Take your selfie next to the giant shark and make all of your friends jealous. When you’re ready to cool down, make your way to Desserted Island Ice Cream. And if you’re feeling romantic, take that special someone horse riding along the beach (fancy!).

3. Nashville, Tennessee

Whether you like country music or not, Nashville is a great place for sight seeing. Music City is home to some of the best honky tonks, Goo Goo clusters, and hot chicken at Hattie B’s. You’d be surprised at the range of things Nashville has to offer. Stop by the Pancake Pantry for some blueberry pancakes, visit a full scale replica of the Parthenon (whoa!), and roam around the Delta Atrium inside the Opryland Hotel.

4. Brooklyn, New York

Yes, New York sounds expensive, but you can be frugal in this big city. Stick around Brooklyn and capture photos along the famous bridge (for that perfect snap), taste local craft beers, and tour the Brooklyn Museum. Shop like a local at some of their weekend flea markets and eat rainbow bagels @ The Bagel Store (cake for breakfast!). Brooklyn offers plenty of AirBnB rooms starting around $60, but if you are willing to splurge check out this gorgeous room for two.

5. Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Rent a moped and make your way to some of the best seafood restaurants or stop by Dagwood’s Deli for some monstrous and delicious sandwiches!
